Preview thumbnails and move documents before combining.
Pages concatenate into one PDF locally in your browser.

Checklist before you combine files: same page size if you care about print margins, a clear order for cover + body + appendix, and confirmation you are allowed to join every source. Merge PDF then turns that stack into one downloadable document.
Use merge when clients send five separate PDFs and reviewers want a single packet, or when you export chapters from different apps and need one file for DocuSign or a shared drive. Reorder in the queue before you run the merge so the page flow matches the narrative you intend.
Pitfall: merging encrypted or damaged PDFs fails mid-job. Unlock or repair sources first, then combine. Another trap is mixing landscape slides with portrait reports without checking the first page of the result.
Tip: name the download something human (proposal-v3.pdf) right after save so the merged blob does not get lost among auto-named files.

No. Merge PDF is built to process PDFs in your browser with client-side libraries. Your document stays on your device during processing.
Merge PDF works with common PDF 1.3–1.7 files produced by Word, browsers, and design apps. Extremely unusual or damaged PDFs may fail validation.
Encrypted PDFs often need unlocking first. If the tool rejects the file, remove the password in a trusted desktop app, then retry Merge PDF.
It depends on the operation. Merge/split/rotate usually preserve page content; compression or rasterisation can affect visual fidelity. Preview results before discarding the original.
There is no fixed server quota, but very large page counts are limited by your device memory. Try a shorter range first if the browser becomes slow.
Keep your original PDF. Browser processing does not replace the source file until you download and overwrite it yourself.
After the page and libraries load, many PDF actions continue offline. First-time library loads need a network connection.
The web tool is free to use for typical personal and commercial workflows. Review Terms for full usage conditions.
Start from a clean source PDF, avoid repeated re-compression, and pick quality presets that match your goal (screen vs print).
