Terms & Conditions

Straightforward rules for using OneDevToolkit — written for real users, not legalese copy-paste.

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Summary

  • By using onedevtoolkit.com, you agree to these Terms.
  • Most tools run in your browser. You stay responsible for what you paste, upload, or download.
  • Use the site lawfully. Do not abuse, scrape, or clone our original product for competing redistribution.
  • Tools are provided free for everyday work, without a guarantee that every result is perfect for every use case.

These Terms describe how you may use OneDevToolkit. They are written for clarity and are not legal advice. If you need advice for a specific country or contract, please consult a qualified lawyer.

1. Agreement to these Terms

Welcome to OneDevToolkit. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you visit our website, open any tool, use optional features such as Recipes, Vault, or Workbench, create an account, or contact us.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the site. Continuing to use OneDevToolkit means you accept them.

2. What OneDevToolkit is

OneDevToolkit is a free collection of online utilities for developers, marketers, and creators — for example JSON formatters, converters, security helpers, PDF and image tools, AI prompt utilities, and related browser tools.

Most tools are designed to process content on your device using your browser. We do not claim that every tool is suitable for regulated, life-critical, or mission-critical systems without your own review and testing.

We may add, change, rename, or retire tools over time. We may also adjust limits, layouts, or availability to keep the service reliable and secure.

3. Who may use the site

You may use OneDevToolkit if you can form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. The site is intended for a general adult audience and technical professionals. If you use OneDevToolkit on behalf of a company or team, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.

4. Your content and your responsibility

Anything you type, paste, open, or download while using a tool remains yours. Because processing is typically client-side, we do not receive the contents of those tool inputs for normal tool execution. Details of what we do and do not collect are explained in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for:

  • Having the right to use the text, code, images, PDFs, or other materials you process
  • Checking outputs before relying on them in production, client work, or security-sensitive workflows
  • Keeping secrets (API keys, passwords, tokens) out of places you do not control — even when a tool runs locally
  • Complying with laws that apply to your content and your use of the tools

OneDevToolkit is a convenience toolkit. It does not replace professional review for legal, security, medical, financial, or compliance decisions.

5. Acceptable use

Use OneDevToolkit in a way that is fair to other users and respectful of the service. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for illegal activity, fraud, harassment, or distributing malware
  • Attempt to break, overload, or disrupt the website, hosting, or related services
  • Bypass security, rate limits, captchas, or access controls
  • Mass-scrape, mirror, or clone the site with automated downloaders for the purpose of republishing our original product as your own
  • Misrepresent yourself, spam the contact form, or abuse optional account features
  • Use tools to harm others’ privacy or systems in ways that violate applicable law

We may temporarily or permanently restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken, or if we need to protect the site and its users.

6. Accounts and optional features

You can use most tools without creating an account. If you register or sign in:

  • Provide accurate information and keep your login details private
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account
  • Optional features (such as favourites, Recipes, Vault, Workbench, or privacy receipts) may store preferences or metadata as described in the Privacy Policy — not the full contents of files you process in tools

We may suspend or close accounts that are inactive, compromised, or used in violation of these Terms. If you want an account removed, contact us using the details below.

7. Free access and future paid options

Today, the core toolkit is offered free of charge and without requiring payment to use individual tools. We may later introduce optional paid or trial features (for example higher limits for Recipes, Vault quotas, or advanced receipts).

If we introduce paid features, we will describe pricing, billing, and cancellation clearly before you purchase. Free tools that remain free will continue to be usable without payment unless we announce a change on the site.

We do not currently operate a paid subscription as a requirement to access the main tool directory.

8. Intellectual property

OneDevToolkit’s original branding, interface design, documentation, logos, and custom software are owned by OneDevToolkit or its licensors. You may use the public website and tools for their intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, or redistribute our original site design, trademarks, or proprietary assets as if they were your own product, except where law allows (for example fair use or a separate written permission).

Open-source libraries, fonts, and third-party components included in the site remain the property of their authors and are used under their licences. See Attributions & licenses for more detail.

Names of other companies or products that appear on comparison or educational pages are used only for identification and commentary. OneDevToolkit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those trademark owners unless we say so explicitly.

9. Feedback and contact messages

If you send ideas, bug reports, or suggestions through the contact form or email, you grant us permission to use that feedback to improve the site without paying a fee. You still own your own ideas, but we are free to act on feedback that helps everyone.

Do not send content through contact channels that you are not allowed to share.

10. Copyright concerns

If you believe something on OneDevToolkit infringes your copyright or related rights, please contact us via the Contact page. Include:

  • Your name and a way to reach you
  • A description of the work you own
  • The URL or location of the material on our site
  • A statement that you believe the use is not authorised

We will review good-faith notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing or adjusting the material.

11. Disclaimers

OneDevToolkit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that:

  • Every tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
  • Outputs will be complete, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose
  • Browser differences, ad blockers, or device limits will never affect a tool
  • Third-party CDNs, fonts, analytics, or captcha services we rely on will always work

Educational security tools, hash helpers, JWT utilities, and similar features are for learning and convenience. They are not a substitute for a professional security review.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, OneDevToolkit and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the site or tools.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for a paid feature in the three months before the claim (if any), or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example, certain rights that consumers have in some countries).

13. Indemnity

If your use of OneDevToolkit causes a claim against us — for example because you processed content you had no right to use, or you violated these Terms — you agree to defend and hold us harmless from related losses and reasonable costs, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Third-party services and links

The site may load fonts, scripts, analytics, or captcha services from third parties, and may link to external documentation. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services outside our control.

15. Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookies page. Those documents form part of how we operate the service alongside these Terms.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms when we add features, change how the site works, or need clearer wording. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you disagree with a change, stop using the site.

17. Governing law

These Terms are interpreted under the laws applicable to the operation of our hosting and business arrangements, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law. Courts in a competent venue connected to our operations may hear disputes, unless consumer protection laws in your country give you a mandatory right to sue elsewhere.

If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
