You finished a freelance job and need to bill the client today, without signing up for accounting software. The invoice generator opens a full-width editor with a template you can fill in and download.
This page sends you to the Document Generator, the full-width editor where the work happens. Pick one of the built-in templates, click any element to select it and double-click text to type. Add line-item rows, set a Tax % in the bottom bar, and the totals update. You can upload a logo, insert text blocks and shapes, change the page background, move layers forward or back, and undo or redo. Your draft autosaves to this browser's local storage, so it is still there when you come back on the same device.
Export as a PDF, or as a PNG, JPG or WebP image. The PDF is built from a rendered image of the page, so the text inside it is not selectable; keep that in mind if a client's system reads invoice numbers automatically. Because the draft lives in local storage, clearing site data deletes it, so download a copy of anything you need to keep. If the final file is large, compress the PDF before emailing it.
Editing and export happen on your device. Invoice details are not sent to a server.

No. The PDF contains an image of the invoice page, which keeps the layout exact but means the text cannot be selected or searched.
Use Reset template to restore the current template's layout, or switch to a different template. Both replace what is on the canvas, so export anything you want to keep first.
