HTML Formatter
Beautify and indent HTML markup.
OpenBeautify and validate JSON. - runs entirely in your browser. Free, fast and private.
Enter API responses, config files, or raw JSON strings.
Invalid brackets or commas are highlighted with line errors.
Indentation and line breaks are applied automatically.
Copy beautified JSON or switch to minified output.
Paste a one-line API response that looks like noise. JSON Formatter pretty-prints it, flags syntax errors, and lets you walk the structure so you can see which field is actually wrong.
Use it whenever you are debugging webhooks, reading config exports, or cleaning a payload before you commit it. Formatting is not the same as fixing semantics: valid JSON can still have the wrong types or missing keys. Treat a green parse as "structurally ok," then read the values.
Pitfall: trailing commas and single quotes. Those are JavaScript habits, not JSON. Fix them in the source or you will keep seeing parse failures.
Tip: after it is readable, jump to JSON Minifier for transport size, or JSON Schema Generator when you need a draft schema from the same sample.
Payloads you paste stay in this tab. Refreshing clears the working copy; we are not logging your API bodies for formatting.
